#3564 DIAGNOSTIC AND PROGNOSTIC SIGNIFICANCE OF INTERLEUKIN-6 IN LUPUS NEPHRITIS

Abstract Background and Aims Lupus nephritis is a frequent potentially serious complication of SLE. The present study aimed to evaluate the usefulness urinary IL-6 as non-invasive diagnostic & prognostic biomarkers disease activity in LN. Method was done IMS Sum hospital, Bhubaneswar, India from January, 2018 July 2022. included 20 healthy controls 32 patients SLE diagnosed based Systemic International Collaborating Clinic (SLICC) criteria, who presented with renal involvement. exclusion criteria inability obtain informed consent without Urinary levels were assessed before initiation therapy by quantitative sandwich EASIA technique using human kit (DIA Source Belgium).
